2010
The year has flown by but our memories will last
Soon 2010 will be a part of our past.
Jessie is ten and in 5th grade at school.
She thinks Basketball, Volleyball, and Running are cool.
In a 2nd grade class our little Jimmy is eight.
He thinks video games, skiing and scouting are great.
The whole family did Ski Club with a Timber Ridge pass.
The kids hit the slopes and took to it fast.
Jessie started running at a pretty fast pace.
She competed in 5Ks and beat mom in one race.
John’s the scout leader and Jim’s a Wolf Cub.
Jim played “green gators” baseball with a right- handed glove.
Our Spring break vacation went pretty well,
We cruised to Honduras, Grand Cayman, Belize & Cozumel
We toured the ruins at Tulum and on the beaches we’d play
In the water we swam with the dolphins & sting ray.
Our summer vacation the kids enjoyed a lot.
Mackinaw Island, Tahquamenon, Great Wolf & Mystery Spot.
Jessie’s 10 B-day Party was a Beach Bash by the pool
Making flip flops and cover-ups and swimming to stay cool.
The Clash of the Titans was Jimmy’s 8th Birthday Theme.
with helmet & sword the warriors devised a great scheme
They would capture the Pegasus & kill the Scorpion dead,
Lure the 2 headed wolf away to steal Medusa’s head.
With the head of Medusa they would turn the Kraken to stone,
free the princess Andromeda then eat cake & go home.
.
As fall fundraising chair for the kids PTO
The “Turtle Trot” idea started to grow.,
The event was a blast , the income was grand,
The Gazette ran photos of our signature “Turtle man”.
The temperatures were dropping and leaves began to fall
Halloween was now coming and we were not ready at all
Jim was the Night Fury that cute “Toothless” dragon,
Jessie was a “Goth witch” or so she is saying.
I’m am working at Denso with some changes this spring,
Corporate Planning manager is the position that brings.
John is still working for Portage where he serves and protects,
at night when you’re sleeping he apprehends the suspects.
We have been very fortunate and so richly blessed.
We wish Merry Christmas and for the New Year we wish you the best.
John, Mary, Jessie & Jimmy Zesiger
